Oney Guillen

Oney Guillen was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela.  He came to the United States at age 17 and finished High School in Florida.  Oney moved to Chicago to play Division I baseball at the University of Illinois Chicago, then eventually North Park University.  He was drafted into Major League Baseball and spent 3 years playing in the minor leagues. He eventually moved on and worked in the front office for the Chicago White Sox minor league department.  Oney’s father, Ozzie Guillen, is a former MLB player and manager of the Chicago White Sox.

In 2013, Oney started working in the Insurance and Financial Services industry.  He spent the first 3 years at New York Life where he achieved the prestigious Executive Council level.  Currently, as a Financial Professional with Hunken Ewing Financial Group, he enjoys working with young professionals and families to help them become more financially organized and balanced.  He focuses on using a process that is specifically tailored to each client he works with.
